Jim Majury

Security Blanket
21x25.5 -- ltd. edition of 475
Jim's formal art training has been minimal. He is principally self-taught. His keen eye for detail and precision led him to develop the composite drawing into major investigative tool while employed as a police officer with the Metropolitan Toronto Police Force One of his sketches in 1960 resulted in the apprehension of a gunman wanted in connection with a series of armed robberies. He enjoyed numerous such successes in the ensuing years. Police forces across Canada called on his expertise to help them solve major crimes. His precise sketches are well known by law enforcement personnel through the continent.
