Kenojuak Ashevak
Art CardsBorn at the Baffin Island camp of Ikirisaq, this Inuit artist has a long and distinguished career that even made her the subject of a film produced by the National Film Board and a book entitled "Graphic Arts of the Inuit: Kenojuak". She is a Companion of the Order of Canada and was awarded Honourary Degrees from both Queen's University and the University of Toronto.
