This pattern was inspired by the Navajo story of Creation, where a barren red island held the first beings, called Air-Spirit People. Rivulets of blue represent water, surrounded by diamond shapes that symbolize the sacred Four Directions. Dyed, woven and hand-finished in Pendleton, Oregon, for quality that will last a lifetime.
